I am Swagatika Panda, an MS student in College of Computer and Information Science, Northeastern University, Boston. I worked in the Robotics Research Group under the guidance of Dr. Robert Platt.
My broad areas of interest include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Robotics and Applications of Machine Learning.
Prior to joining Northeastern, I did M.S. at CVIT, IIIT, Hyderabad, India. I worked under the supervision of Prof. C.V. Jawahar and Dr. A.H. Abdul Hafez. During MS, I worked on different aspects of computer vision such as human tracking in outdoors, image retrieval, localization, segmentation and semantic interaction. My M.S thesis was on "Semantic Interaction among Indoor Objects". Details of my research work at IIIT can be found here.
