Assignment 7: Individual Presentation Critique

This is an individual assignment.

Goal

To demonstrate your ability to use class material to help another team refine an idea and the presentation of that idea. To help a team improve their presentation.

Team assignment

You will be sent an email with a link to another team's video from Assignment 6 and the Powerpoint slides.

Watch the video once and focus on the content. Immediately afterwards, answer the questions on the Google Form questionnaire you will be sent.

Then watch the video again. This time focus on style. Make constructive suggestions on how the team could improve the presentation of the idea. These suggestions might include:

• Suggestions on how to present more effectively
• Suggestions on how to organize material most effectively
• Suggestions on how to fix slides so they conform to the slide format and presentation tips document

Compile these suggestions into a single document.

Hand in:

Complete the Google Form questionnaire. Email your other suggestions as a document named PHIDD-[YourName].IdeasForTeam[TeamNumberYouAreEvaluating].pdf to ...@neu.edu by the deadline.

You will be evaluated on the extent to which your comments for the other team are constructive and reflect that you are reading the assigned materials and listening carefully in class.
