This quiz will count for 8 points out of your total of 100 course points.


Question 1: Write out the source code for the class HelloWorldSimplest which you have been asked to memorize. Number each Java statement, 1 through 8. Below your source code, in separate section, write out 8 numbered comments, a sentence or two each, explaining the technical Java aspects of each statement.

Question 2, covering Chap. 1: Cultural and international diversity is becoming more and more important in the design systems. Two aspects of this are date/time formats and Social Security, national identification, passport numbers. Briefly discuss two other aspects of cultural and international diversity.

Question 3, covering Chap. 2: One of the "Golden Rules" is "Prevent Errors". Discuss one of the other Golden Rules.

Question 4, covering Chap. 3: For the LUCID paradigm for Development, briefly compare and contrast the Envision stage and the Design Detail stage.
