Course Textbooks

Students will receive handouts of most course materials. NOTE: You will need to keep and use some of the co-op materials throughout your education at Northeastern. Do not throw these materials away!

Required Text (available in the NU Bookstore)

Todino-Gonguet, G., Strang, J., Peek, J. (2001). Learning the Unix Operating System (6th Edition). O'Reilly & Associates.

  • Three weeks of CS U221 will consist of a short course on UNIX. You will need this textbook then.
