I successfully defended my thesis! Next, I will be joining Meta as a Research Scientist.

Biography

I am was a final year Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science advised by Prof. Guevara Noubir. My research interest spans Wireless and Mobile Networking, Security and Privacy, and Applied Machine Learning. The goal of my research is to fuse theoretical advances in Network Systems, Wireless Signal Processing and Machine Learning to develop practical systems that are secure, robust, and efficient. In my most recent projects, I have utilized techniques in Deep Learning and Signal Processing to exploit massive high-speed RF sensor data and improve the robustness and security for wireless communications systems.
I am a key member of the Northeastern team who had been participating in DARPA SC2 as a two-time Winner in 2017 and 2018, and a Finalist in 2019. I am also a two-time top-rated Ph.D. intern at Meta Platforms Inc. (previously Facebook).
Prior to the Ph.D study, I earned the Bachelor's degree at Hanoi University of Science and Technology from the talented engineer honors program (with the highest distinction), where I had conducted research on quality-of-experience for adaptive video streaming.
