As of July 9th: You should have read Sections 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 on scan converting lines. Then you'll need to be reading all of Section 3.6 on filling polygons, focusing on Section 3.6.3 which is what part of your homework is about. Next, you'll need to read Section 3.12.3 on the Cohen-Sutherland line clipping algorithm.
Coming up, July 18th: We will be going through the material in Chapter 5 on geometrical transformations quite thoroughly. Understanding this material will be critical for many of the projects. Plus, you will have homework on Chapter 5 and the material will be on exams. So you should get started on this Chapter immediately after your Assignment #1 is due on Wednesday, July 17th.
