In short, we are ivestigating fact-checking interventions, in which twitter users try to refute false claims made by their peers. You can read about it more in our paper.

Data set

The Twitter data used in our analysis was collected between January 2012 and August 2013 from the Twitter gardenhose public stream. For more details on how we further filtered and processed the data, refer to the paper. We provide this data as a resource to the scientific community, if you use it, please cite us as ["BibTeX"].

The following csv file contains the tweets used in our analysis and has information for Tweet ID (snoped tweet), Tweet ID (snoping tweet), Author-Author relationship and Mentions of authors (before, after) the snope.

We are also sharing some code (R) in case you are interested in the details of our analysis.
