Herman Saksono

Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, Northeastern University

My research is in the fields of Human-Computer Interactions (HCI), Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and Personal Health Informatics. I am currently working with Andrea G. Parker at the Wellness Technology Lab. I'm a Fulbright alumni for my Computer Science Master's program in 2012-2014.

I design and evaluate the impact of technologies for supporting a healthy behavior and community empowerment. In my research, I conducted in-depth qualitative fieldwork to examine how gamification, storytelling, and reflection in health technologies can help individuals and groups manage their health and wellness.

My CV and my projects.
