LNDC Freshman Research Projects

Getting a head start on research is the primary goal of the LNDC Freshman Research Projects. While working on research problems, the freshman will be introduced to Unix, C++, networking, hardware and virtual reality as well as software projects in genetic algorithms, neural networks, cellular automata, databases, multimedia and Java. These projects will supplement their course work as well as begin to prepare them for Co-Op assignments and for Graduate School. For the Fall quarter each student is working on an individual project, will maintain a lab notebook, attend weekly lab meetings, and periodically present project status to the group.

Our Goals are:

  • Academic Excellence
  • Good Citizenship
  • Service to the Community
with fame and fortune as acceptable side effects.

We will achieve our goals through hard work!

  • Problem of the Week
