Hi Doug:

thank you for the new version. Lots of useful features.
Will introduce them to the class but as a seperate version
so as not to confuse some students.

I noticed that in the example below, when I changed the syntax only
of the cd, I had to do a make clean to get the generation correct.
Please can you check the dependencies in the makefile.
