Directions to Egan Engineering/Science Research Center at Northeastern University >From the North: Both Routes 93 and 95 merge with the Southeast Expressway (route 3). Remain on the expressway for about 4 miles and take the Massachusetts Avenue exit. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight ahead onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Follow this to the end and turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The visitor parking lot is adjacent to the parking garage (on your left about 2 blocks). Parking costs $5 per day. >From the South: Take Route 93/3, the Southeast Expressway north to the Massachusetts Avenue exit and proceed as above. >From the West: Take the Mass Turnpike (Route 90). Take the Copley Square exit (22) and bear right onto Dartmouth Street. Take the next right onto Columbus Avenue and proceed approximately 2 miles to the Parking Garage (795 Columbus Ave.) The Visitor Lot is adjacent to the garage. >From Cambridge: Take Massachusetts Avenue across the Charles River. Pass Symphony Hall where you cross Huntington Avenue. Take the second right into Columbus Avenue which will bring you to the parking garage (see below). Campus maps are available at the booth of the Visitor Lot and on the WWW with http://www.neu.edu/maps/maps.html >By public transportation: From Logan Airport: Take the free Shuttle Bus to the subway station. Take the Blue Line downtown. (You need 85 cents in coins.) Take the Blue Line to State Street where you switch to the Orange Line, outbound direction. "Forrest Hills" should be written on the front of the first car. Get out at Ruggles Station and use the map at http://www.neu.edu/maps/maps.html to get to Egan. Egan has number 61 on the map. In Ruggles, you need to go upstairs and then downstairs again on the main campus side. When you exit Ruggles, Egan is the big new building on your right. Walk down Forsyth street and take the first right between Dana Research Center and Egan (a nice brick walkway). The first entrance to Egan is the Technology Transfer Center, the second entrance is the entrance for Egan 206. Go one flight up and 206 is on your left. ------------------- The new Egan Center is near Ruggles Station (Orange Line), between the Snell Library and Ruggles.
