The name DemJava seems to become popular in our group. Indeed, Geoff uses it in the User Manual which is developing quickly: http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/ghulten/UserManual.html Several of my students in COM3360 last fall also referred to DemJava. However, one of our outside sources of advice, Brad Appleton, felt that DemJava does not sound impressive enough compared to what the system can do. I think he liked Demeter/Java better. DJava is already taken since Xerox Name uses that name. Demeter/Java is a little long, but clear and shows the alternatives: Demeter/CLOS Demeter/Perl which are implemented elsewhere in a simple form. Should we systematically use the name Demeter/Java in our documentation? Any thoughts? -- Karl
