The idea is to have an informal description of design decisions
which goes beyond the more formal descriptions in our papers
and theses.

The design decision collection is intended for:

- users of Demeter/Java who want to know why certain things
  are done in a certain way.
- implementers who want to do their own implementations of
  adaptive programming.
- researchers who want to understand better the design space
  behind adaptive programming.
