Hi Mike: thank you for your very interesting Beans project. You have the most involved bean aspect language. See: http://www.ccs.neu.edu/research/demeter/course/f97/projects/java-beans1 http://www.ccs.neu.edu/research/demeter/course/f97/projects/java-beans2 (you) http://www.ccs.neu.edu/research/demeter/course/f97/projects/java-beans3 for comparison. There is no need to duplicate what is in the other projects (1 and 3) but please can you tell us a little more how to run your program. It also would be very useful if you could highlight the benefits of your beans aspect language over the other two. I could not view your beans.ps file with ghostview. Your beans.txt works but all the boldness is missing :-) and the lines are too long for Netscape. Did you decide that you prefer to use around X (without subtraversal) instead of before X? We want to add a beans aspect to Demeter/Java. Do you want to be involved? -- Karl =================== installation and testing report by Alexey Project : Demeter/Java For Java Beans by Mike Miller ------ installed in directory /proj/demsys/com3360/f97/miller/project the program already compiled. there is no clear description how to run the program java Main something.bean in /proj/demsys/com3360/f97/miller/project/Bean/javabean produces some data to terminal + writes something.asp in /gen directory project is large but not well documented
