Hi Roy: Your prototype looks very good. You have four 4 file categories .cd .beh .java .input If I click on a hyperlink in one file, the system shows information relevant to that hyperlink in the other files which are currently open. As you pointed out, this could be made generic, independent of the current Demeter application. This will certainly be useful in conjunction with AP Studio to make adaptive programs more understandable. The use cases you labeled as non-optional are all that is needed. I forward this to my group. They might have further ideas on how adaptive programs should be browsed. -- Karl From roberhau@cup.hp.com Sun Dec 7 02:39:29 1997 Date: Sat, 6 Dec 1997 23:39:18 -0800 To: lieber@ccs.neu.edu Subject: Please run prototype Hi Karl, As you are my only "user", I'd appreciate it if you would run the prototype I've developed which can be accessed from my project page: http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/roberhau/com3360.html in the Elaboration section or directly via http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/roberhau/prototype Please click on all hyperlinked parts within all the frames to get an idea of what it does. - Please send me feedback on the prototype and on my project page, especially the use cases. - Is this what you had envisioned? - Would this, as prototyped, be a useful tool for you and in general? Project Status: Completed elaboration phase and prototype. About to embark on growth phase 1.
