Speaker: John Sung

Title:
An Introduction to AspectJ: Support for Structure-Shy Programming
and Better Separation of Concerns using Branches

Abstract:

John Sung will write his MS thesis in our group and in preparation
for it he is learning about AspectJ.
He will show applications of AspectJ to two concerns of our group:
Structure-shy programming and Doug Orleans' work on
a programming mechanism (called branches)
that supports better separation of concerns
(as shown by Doug's Scheme prototype implementing a language
called Fred).
