We will have two presentations tonight by Prasenjit Adak and Stelios Paparizos on Database and XML and by Pengcheng Wu on Edge Visitors in DJ I need an email by 4pm with a pointer to a directory containg your Powerpoint slides. As a backup, bring a diskette to class. After the two presentations we will have the final (2 hours). After the final I will go to 229 in Cullinane to see whether any of you is still there to demo the project to me and Stelios. I have time until 9.55 pm. I will also be in my office on Friday to see demos. Please drop me a note when you will come. A demo is not required but offered as an option. All projects are due today. Grades are due on Monday. I always welcome suggestions for improving the class. Please append those to your project description when you have any. Finally two recommendations: I recommend Professor Wand's class: Semantics http://www.ccs.neu.edu/course/com3357 as a follow-on to this course. It is a theoretical course about proving theorems related to programs but good theory is the best practice. Software Testing, Verification, and Validation (COM 3220, graduate) taught by Professor Attie is another excellent follow-on course to this course. He will cover verification and validation techniques that you will find useful for your programming practice.
