Hello everybody,
I am the TA for com3360.
As professor Lieberherr mentioned last Thursday
I am going to have office hours
every Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30.
My office is in 053 Cullinane,
I guess you will find my name on it.
Besides the office hour if anyone has
questions about the homework
that are urgent please send me an e-mail
about them. I will do my best in answering them
as quickly as possible and if I cannot
I would forward your questions to
Doug Orleans or professor Lieberherr.
All homeworks have to be submitted hardcopy
(except the Network students).
The homeworks are generally due on Thursdays
so you can bring the hardcopies in class.
If anyone would like to take advantage of
the two business days extension
that professor Lieberherr mentioned then
please leave your hardcopies in my mailbox in 161.
Since the homeworks are due on midnight of the mentioned
date then you can leave them in my mailbox
early next morning. Usually I would pick them up
after 10am so you can printout everything the previous
night and leave them the following morning before 10.
If you do that please send me an e-mail to inform me about it.
In any case if anyone is sick, or has other obligations
that doesn't allow him/her to come to the university
and bring me a hardcopy of the homework
(or if he is a network student)
then the homework submissions should be made
with a plain text file attached with your answer.
The text file should contain your answer
and has to be named after your user name
or your name (eg stelios.txt) and not something like homework1.txt.
The e-mail should have a subject like
com3360 homework #.
Generally try to avoid changing the code unless
is specificaly required. If you do write some code
then do not printout everything but just
the code that you have added/changed and the corresponding place
that it should appear.
I thank you in advance for your cooperation,
if any questions you will find me
after class, during office hours
or by e-mail.
