This paper expresses a family of class dictionary transformations which are useful for growing applications. More of those transformations are in the Ph.D. theses of Walter Huersch and Linda Seiter (theses).

The idea is that the transformations don't disturb too much the paths which need to be traversed and if they are disturbed, they can be repaired by traversal specification refinement.
