• Control Panel -> Printers
• Choose "Local printer attached to this computer", make sure that
"Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer" is NOT checked,
and click Next
• Choose to "Create a New Port", select "Standard TCP/IP Port",
and click Next
• Printer Name or IP address = "print.ccs.neu.edu"
• Port Name = %printername% (dali, vigee, versponck, etc)
• Choose "Custom" and click "Settings..."
• Choose "LPR" as the Protocol
Queue Name = "printername" (dali, vigee, versponck, etc)
• Check "LPR Byte Counting Enabled"
• Be sure that SNMP is Disabled
• Select the Manufacturer and Printer Model
• Give the printer a friendly name e.g. "printername (room#)"
• Select "Do Not Share Printer"
• You may print a test page to confirm the installation
