Research

My research area is Multidimensional and Spatial-Temporal Database Indexing. Spatial-temporal database have received considerable attention during the last few years due to the accumulation of large amounts of multi-dimensional data evolving in time, and the emergence of novel applications such as traffic supervision and mobile communication systems. Research has focused on modeling, indexing and query processing issues for problems involving historical information retrieval, motion and trajectory preservation, future location estimation etc
