Me and HCI
Hello, my name is Zhichun. I am a graduate student majoring in Computer Science at Northeastern University. I did my undergraduate study in Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, majoring in Computer Science and Technology. I am a fan of HCI. When I find my grandparents interest in intelligence phone but give up using it because its complexity, I realize there are great demands and space in my future study and research.
I am fond of the idea: HCI, better machine for better lives, and I believe excellent HCI brings people joy, the feeling that "Science and technology is marvelous and easy-to-use". As the world grows increasingly more dependent on new technologies, the need has never been greater to create easy-to-use, meaningful technologies for diverse population. The mission of HCI is to understand and create technology that harmonizes with and improves human capabilities, goals, and social environments through interdisciplinary research and behavioral and social sciences. It may sound simple but we need put great efforts into it.
