In 2007, Frey, et.al.[4] proposed a very good
clustering algorithm called ``affinity propagation'' in Science. Two
friends and I modified the definition of ``self-similarities''[5] and
applied this algorithm to lossy image processing. We finished this project
without any mentorship.
