Professor Salzberg's current interests are in spatial and temporal access methods, moving objects databases, online reorganization, medical image databases and application recovery. Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation since 1989. Professor Salzberg has published about 40 papers on database systems including several in the SIGMOD, VLDB and ICDE conferences, the most selective in the database area. She has also served several times on the program committees of those conferences.
Professor Salzberg is serving as TODS Associate Editor from 2004 to 2010.
