Below is an alternate way of looking at who I am. You can pan the Timeline left and right with either the mouse scroll wheel, or by dragging, or by using the left and right keys on your keyboard.
You can always go back to the boring way of looking at my life, too. Scroll down to see more about this page.
I've never stayed with one technology for very long. I don't really mind that at all, and I like to think of it as my strength. However, to show how all of the various things I've done come together, I wanted to come up with a simple way of showing how things evolved and changed over time.
I could have done something with Flash, but I wanted to make it an excuse for learning a good Javascript UI like jQuery, but then I came across SIMILE's Timeline widget, which was very close to what I wanted. Best of all, it separated the presentation from the data, which it could pick off XML files, just the way I wanted to do it.
Disclaimer: I have tested this page with Chrome, Firefox and IE. I noticed some issues with dragging on Firefox, but nothing else serious. This page is however still under development, so I would certainly value any feedback you can offer.
