Caminiti I'm a 18 year old boy from Norway, who wants to thank you for your fantastic report on Orwell's 1984. This fall we have been working with a project at scool. We were divided into groups and chose a theme. My prefered science fiction. Then we had to red 4 books: 1984 by Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 by Bradbury, 2000 leagues under the sea by Jules Verne and a norwegian book (not very good). I liked best 1984, but Fahrenheit 451 was also a good book. We used your report a lot during our work and that's why I want to thank you. Tomorrow we're going to spend the whole day writing about the books we've been reading. There's is only one thing I missed in your report, and that was something about Stalin. The 1984-community had a lot in common with the Sovjet Union during Stalin's time as president before the war. But the rest was great.
According to the last two lines of the last mail, and this one here, I missed a bit in 1984. Oh well, I got what I wanted to out of it... I don't see how socialism is relevent today anyhow.

Good essay, it helped with my own. Oh, well, color me wrong... Whatever, I doubt seriously that Socialism was going to breed anything as technologically advanced as was in 1984. Sheeeesh, they can't even bring Dogs back from outter space... (Ok that's harsh... Sorry Peter...)
