Subject: typo/comments on solutions to practice problems

In the solution to Problem 1 of practice problems, the last line of
the first para says D(x', y) < d/2. This should be changed to D(x',
y) > d/2. The same correction needs to be made in the second sentence
of the following para. The new corrected version of the document is
available from the course webpage.
Also, Problem 5(b) and Problem 6 are related to the material not yet
covered. So they are not part of the syllabus for the midterm today.
