CSU101 Computer Science and Applications
Spring 2009
- The course web site, www.ccs.neu.edu/course/csu101, contains schedule information
for the lab instructors, access to the assignments, and links back to
individual instructors. If you are looking for your lab assignments, this
is the place to check.
- The objectives for students in this course are four-fold:
- to learn how to solve problems using a spreadsheet, a
relational database, a word processor, and statistical software,
- to learn to recognise the appropriate type of software for a
specific problem,
- to learn how to master software by experiment, and
- to enrich one's base of understanding to facilitate the use
of computers in later courses and in the workplace.

Note: Final Exam is optional, not required, and all make-up exams
SHAll be taken within one week of each of the test.
However, for those who feel need to improve grades, you may
want to take exam on the Final Exam time. (Location/Time TBA)
