Problem Sets and Lab Report Submission guidelines
- Plain text or PDF are preferred. MS-Office doc(x) and xls(x)
files are not acceptable since they are subject to formatting glitches,
do not play
well on a cross-platform environment, and are prone to corruption.
You can save your documents using free, readily-available PDF converters.
Always double-check that the file you are attaching is readable.
- Attach a single file containing your submission to an email
message. If you need to send more than one file, please zip them
together. Tar.gz files are also acceptable. Rar files have
historically been filtered out at the college's email servers, so do
not use the .rar file format unless you want your submission to be discarded.
If you need to submit source code,
place the source files in their own folder, and include them in
the single compressed file.
The name of the compressed file must be:
XX_YY_ZZ.zip
or XX_YY_ZZ.tar.gz
where
XX = Last names of team members separated by -
YY = Assignment
ZZ = Question Number (if applicable)
E.g.:
Shen-Noubir_PS1.tar.gz
- Include the string
[CS6710 SUBMIT]
or [CS6710 SUBMIT]
in the message subject so it will be sorted into the correct email
folder automatically. If you do not do this, your message
may get lost in my email heap.
- You must email them to the instructor by the due date:
