Systems Group Co-op Employee * Administered the College's computing environment, a heterogeneous network consisting of approximately 300 hosts running Solaris, Tru64 Unix, and Windows NT/2000. * Wrote several tools in Java and Perl to automate system administration tasks. * Migrated critical network services including NIS master server, DHCP server, and the user account management system from obsolete hardware to a Sun E450. * Served as primary DNS administrator for the College's Internet domain. * Directed the first major reorganization of the College's data center in over five years.
