Comments: Scheme really helped a lot with my mathematicals and computer science skills. It taught me how to really manage and take advantage of my time during class.I taught Scheme is a better understandable program, better than C++.I did not have a real hard time understanding it as I did with C++. I really want to congratulate the person who designed this program for developing such a great language that every kid in computer science enjoys!! =-]

Comments: The Sceme method was A LOT more easier to learn. I learned it in 2 days, while it took me a whole semester to learn C++. In Sceme, writing a prgram is MUCH simpler. You don't have to do as much. Its a little wierd, because i havent learned it all though. I dont know how to output things besides numbers. All in all, scheme was a lot simpler than c++ and it let me understand program writing better. It helped me understand what the program was doing. Thanx, Amy =)
Comments: Hi, The sceme method was ALOT more easier to understand, BUT it wasnt like programing...it was rather a math program...not a code writing program...because most languages will make a .exe file that can run from n-e where ...so to me sceme was more of a math program... also sceme would be better if like main words(define , cond...ect) would highlight in dif color like C++(void, char, int) Thank you
Comments: Hello, I am a junior at Elsik high school, who has been experimenting with both c++ and scheme. We first started out the year only using c++, but these last two weeks of school we have expanded our abilities by using scheme also. After getting to use both programs, I have enjoyed scheme more than c++ because scheme allows you to have an easier time in making mathematical expressions. Hopefully this has made your survey complete. Have a nice day.
Comments: i enjoyed both c++ and drscheme, but i found scheme a lot more easier to comprehend. maybe it was b/c we started out only on the first chapter, but still, i could understand it much much better than the c++. c++ did make sense as well, but it recquired a lot more thinking and analyzing and more thinking to prepare for the programs. i guess that's a good thing, but as teenagers, we just want to get the job done, and not think about what we're doing. i liked both programming languages though. but i would like to learn more about scheme, and what's good is that scheme can be downloaded for free through the internet. thank you.
Comments: I think that Scheme and c++ are both complicated languages that take alot of math skills. I also think that if you get behind for day that you loose out alot and can get lost very easily. I did not get to work in scheme that long although from what I learned, scheme is a easier language to learn than c++. c++ is a very complicated and long process. I felt as though scheme was a shorter version of c++. Understanding the language completely takes alot of skills . Thank You.

Comments: I think that Dr. Scheme is much more easier than c++. I think that if we had a teacher who knew the c++ program a lot better then I probably would have done better in c++ also. Overall I think that if we had people who knew how to teach a certain program such as c++, then a lot more students would know how to program correctly. Dr. Scheme was easy to me because it was a program that my teacher knew and when a teacher teaches something she knows then that makes it easier on the student. Thanks for your time!!!!!!!!
Comments: I enjoyed working with C++. I didn't use Scheme, only C++. I'm glad I got to have the chance to meet Dr. Felleisen. He seemed to really like me. I only wished that I would have taken computer science a year before. Now that I'm graduating, maybe I'll continue to take C++ in college.
Comments: To Whom It May Concern, I have enjoyed my class course in C++, and intend to go on in my studies. C++ helps to understand the basic procedure to any (I believe) programming language.Scheme is eaisier,or should I say, more user freindly.I hope to learn more about these programs and many others. Thank you.
Comments: I really like Sheme because it is very easy to use compared to C++.
Comments: Dr. Scheme was something i didnt want to learn because it was ANOTHER language for me to learn, but when i started to do it, it was really easy for me to understand! Over all it is a good program!
Comments: scheme is very good and is a little bit easier than c++. I like scheme better than c++.
Comments: Good Afternoon, I an a student athelete at Elsik High School. when I first journeyed into the exiting world of computer science, I diddn't know what I was getting myself into. Problem solving has been a true weekness throughout my years in grammer school. I could never find the pattern to any problem and I often tried to avoid it or find ways to solve problems. I'm talkinkg about problems where you have to use what I call acedemic logic to solve the problem. In this class I learned to develop that acedemic logical thinking and I think it has helped me in this class and others. I would like to offer a idea. I think it would be smart to develop a pased programming class for thoes who want to learn computer science but don't catch on as quickly as others; and I think scheme is a wonderful program to use. thank you for your time.
Comments: Hi! I'm in Mrs. North class. So, I learned so much about C++ and DrScheme. I think that DrScheme is very easy. I would like to studying more about DrScheme because I didn't get much information about DrScheme. At the end of the year, Mrs.North taught us about DrScheme. I was happy then I learn something new. In the being of the year, I thought that I'm not going to make it because it was very hard for me. Now I want to learn about C++ and DrScheme. So, I do have American Online. I would be happy if u send me some information about C++ and DrScheme. (PyariXLady) that is my screen name. Thank you so much. Bye.
Comments: C++ was much easier to learn than Scheme. My class had been learning C++ for the duration of the class, and during the last week of class we were introduced to Scheme which was similar, yet different, it was fun to explore the Scheme program, but I wanted to continue working in C++ because I was more familiar with the software. I am sure that if I had more time and exposure with Scheme that I may come to favor it over C++.
Comments: My name is NgocHanh Le. I'm sixteen years old. I'm a sophomore and I'm taking C++ at school. C++ is more fun to me because I know it more than I do in Scheme. In C++, I can create an exe file but I can't do that in Scheme. I Iike the graphics program in C++ more because it easier to find the coordinate. I've been switch to Scheme for two days, and I found that learning how to write programs in Scheme is much faster than C++. But anyway, I like C++ beter and I hope that I'll go all the way with C++.
Comments: I think scheme is less complex than C++,but I understand C++ better than scheme because you can use different methods for write the fornulas and programs. I also prefer C++ because I have more knoledge than scheme , but I think both programs are very inteesting and important.
Comments: Scheme is a little better than C++ in that it requires less work and is more directly understandable.
