I am a Ph.D. candidate in College of Computer and Information Science, Northeastern University. I am in the database research group. My advisor is Professor Betty Salzberg. My research interest focuses on time series stream databases, biomedical research, bioinformatics, and web database system design.

From 2001, I have been an active student member of the New England Database Society (NEDS), which has been meeting at Brandeis once a month.

From Fall 2001, I have been a research assistant in the Center of Subsurface Sensing and Imaging Systems (CenSSIS). I participated in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the CenSSIS web image database system.

From Summer 2003, I have been a research fellow in Massachusetts General Hospital, associated with Harvard Medical School. I worked on tumor respiratory motion analysis and prediction in image guided radiation therapy. I also studied the spatial-temporal characterization of tumor respiratory motion based on time-resolved Computed Tomography.

In Summer 2004, I taught an undergraduate class in College of Computer and Information Science, Northeastern University. I was the instructor of CSU 430 -- Database Design.
