During my leisure time, I like reading books, listening music, exercising outdoor, or gardening in the back yard.
Reading is an important part of my life. Before I went to college, I read everything available to me. Later, I focused my reading to historical literatures and poetry. There are a lot of masterpieces that I am fascinated with. One example is the famous Chinese novel, Hong Lou Meng (Dream of The Red Chamber), which I had read several times. Besides its original and effective love story, I am also attracted by the beautiful poems in the book. Gone with the Wind is another book I am interested.
Reading is not only a way for me to relax, but also a chance to expand my horizon and enrich my knowledge. It also stimulates me to think the meaning of life.Reading furnishes the mind only with material for knowledge; it is thinking that
makes what we read ours.

I love to listen to all kinds of soft music, but my favorites are country music
and classical music. Although not popular in US, I enjoy Chinese local drama. In my home province (HeNan
province), we have a distinctive opera (Yu Ju), which are
very popular in my hometown. Sometimes, the rhythm of some
famous drama will come out of my mouth unconsciously.
The following is a representative picture for Yu Ju (in the opera of Mu-Lan).

Though I rarely play computer games, I really like to play with computers for surfing the web, reading news, listening to music, and programming for fun.
I like different sports, such as badminton, tennis, and running. Believe it or not, I am also a fan of basketball and baseball. As most Chinese students, I am too a hardcore fan of Ming Yao. I am also tightly attached to REDSOX. This year, I was thrilled by the championship of REDSOX.
