This section uncovers parts of the internal
functionality of the Beans Development Kit
(BDK), which is required for understanding the
enhancements proposed in Section 3,
described in Section 4,
and implemented in Section 7.
This also serves to fulfilling an important
subgoal of this paper: to make the BeanBox more
accessible for reuse. We also comment on
programming style inside the BeanBox that
promoted, disturb, or even prevented reuse.
