Introduces you to software development technology and how to apply it to produce a successful robot that maximizes its life energy. Your learning facilitator, called PhD TA: Ahmed Abdelmeged. The same as Karl but more on a one-on-one basis. Has extensive experience with software development, including developing real trading robots. Knows the theory behind the project all the way down to its practical implementation using Eclipse. Ahmed will grade your sub projects and final project with help from Alex. Your learning facilitator, called undergraduate TA: Alex Dubreuil. Alex has done it before: Alex has written both a robot as well as the administrator (with help from Bryan Chadwick and feedback from the Fall 2008 class) that we are going to use. Alex will run the robot competitions and maintain the administrator. He will grade your quizzes. Your learning facilitator, called PhD software tool developer: Bryan Chadwick Bryan's tools will help you to make your robot read and write (following a grammar), walk and process its world effectively. Your learning facilitator, called team mate. Your important collaborator in the SCRUM approach. Your learning facilitators, called class mates. A very important resource. Class member will fill various roles.
