You have three choices for using Eclipse in the course:
CCIS UNIX machines, CCIS Windows machines (e.g. in Cullinane 229),
and your own machines.

On CCIS UNIX machines:

You need to setup your PATH environment variable pointing to:

/proj/demsys/demjava/packages/eclipse/

and you can run eclipse by typing

eclipse

from any directory on which you have write permission, because
eclipse will write something on it.
