The Evaluation Plan for Your Robots The competitions will be run several times to make sure that the results are not random. If two players are close, they will get almost the same evaluation (see below). Competition 1 = sub project 5 : 10 points Competition 2 = sub project 6 : 10 points From today (Friday Feb. 14), in addition source code is submitted to blackboard: From today: 4 competitions with "intelligent" players: Competition 3: Nov. 14, 10 points Competition 4: Nov. 21, 20 points Competition 5: Dec. 5, 30 points 30% code quality 70% results Competition 6: Dec. 12, 40 points 40% code quality 60% results If the total number of points is m (10,20, 21, 24): Instead of using: 1 rank m 2 m/2 3 m/4 etc. we use: m * player money / initial money If all players have about the same amount of money, they will get the same number of points. A player which has dropped out has no money. These points are added for reuse activities: reuse of components: per published reusable component: 1-3 points depending on complexity per reusable component used by another team: 5 for creators, 2 for reusers (the 2 for reusers also applies to graduate student components as they become available) if someone publishes a modified reusable component: on case by case basis At least 2 of your robotic components must be your own.
