Concerns of SCG Designers

SCG promotes good  scientific behavior.
Writing agents winning in SCG competitions is fun but challenging
for undergraduates as well as world class experts in NPO.

Is the grading fair? The ranking of the agents in full round-robin
tournaments is used as an important component of the grade.
-> no cheating; only good scientists win

   the discounting of beliefs is algorithmic)

improve on it.
When you tighten a belief and you quote the belief you tighten,
you earn more reputation than if you just offer a new belief
that you successfully support.

  offer results that are not easily improved.
  offer results that you can successfully support.
  quote related work and show how you improve on previous work.
  prove results if the current state of the art allows.
  publish results of an experimental nature with

  be well-rounded: solve posed problems and 
    pose difficult problems for others (Like the Four Color Conjecture).
  never cheat
