Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD)     aosd.net

In the Winter 2002 quarter you have the opportunity to learn about
a new software technology that was labeled by MIT Technology Review
as one of the 10 most promissing Technologies that will change the world.

The course is COM 3362 and is called
Advanced Object-Oriented Systems. Indeed, the course will focus
on AOSD with the programming language Java, although AOSD is also
useful for other paradigms than the object-oriented one.

The course is about AOSD and AOP and the prerequisites for the course are: 
COM 3230 (Object-Oriented Design) _or_ 
COM 3360 (Adaptive Object-Oriented Software Development). 

IMPORTANT: The course is also open to advanced and ambitious
undergraduate students who took COM 1205 with me.

I hope to see several of you in this course on a technology that
was nurtured during the last decade by our research group
along with a few other groups.
