Subject: Future Late Submission policy...

Class -
EVERYONE must be caught up by the midterm, which is in two weeks - HW4
is due next week and midterm follows the week after. After the midterm,
the initial homework policy will be in effect. You must have a very
good excuse for needing an extension. IF you do not have a good excuse,
I will not except your homework late. There are way too many people
turning in assignments late (10 late, and 2 misunderstanding or
forgetting a part, out of 22 students), which is not fair to those
students who stay up late every night trying to finish it because they
know it is due tomorrow.
ALSO, there have been some misunderstandings lately about what you need
to turn in - or completely forgetting to turn in one of the solutions.
Ask me if you are unsure of what is required. I will try to send out a
group email of what you need to turn in for each part of the assignment.
If you forget a part, I am no longer going to ask you where it is, I
will assume you did not turn it in on purpose and you will receive no
credit.
Sorry I have to take this stance. I would rather not but I have my own
homework to do as well and it is taking way too much time to send out
individual answers, emails asking "where is your homework?", etc.
Paul
ps. you will want to get caught up as quickly as possible so that you
can use the solutions to study for the midterm. You will not receive
solutions till I have received your homework.
