Quake'n is now the game of choice
Mudding as an instrument of cummunication. Here at the College of Computer Science we run 2 different MUD's. InfoCity is accessable to anyone with a CCS account. It has more of a social environment than InfoPark does. InfoPark is a mud that crew and systems people use to talk about systems related topics. I am also on Atlantis which is run by a few friends that work at the Harvard Law School. Maybe when we get unet.org set up, we will run a mud. I try and go Skiing a couple of times a year. But with the expense and lack of free time, that doesn't always happen.
I love to ride. I currently own a 1983 CR250. Yeah, I know it's a little old, but I rebuilt everything except the suspension. The engine runs very strong, but the frame is a beast (both large and heavy). I also own a 1989 Kawasaki Ninja 600R. Which is nice, but I've outgrown it. If I ever graduate, and someone is nice enough to hire me, these are definately on my list of 'needed new toys'.
Reading consumes a lot of my time. I'm not really into novels though. I enjoy computer books (O'Reilly especially), but Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy collection is worth checking out. It's a knee slapper.
A few friends and I play racquette ball a few times a week.
Feeding my computer addiction, Roost.org. At the moment, it consists of 1 Linux P100 which I use for a mail server, exporting disk, router, Samba server, ... An Alpha UDB running RedHat Linux. A P90 running Winblowz 95. They talk to eachother via 10BaseT. But, I've been thinking about purchasing a 4-port 100BaseT hub and a newer putah. Sometime...
