Mudding as an instrument of cummunication. Here at the
College of Computer Science we run 2
different MUD's. InfoCity
is accessable to anyone with a CCS account. It has more of a social
environment than InfoPark does. InfoPark is a mud that crew and systems
people use to talk about systems related topics. I am also on Atlantis
which is run by a few friends that work at the Harvard Law School. Maybe
when we get unet.org set up, we will run a mud.
For a good paper on mudding, check out:

I try and go Skiing a couple of times a year. But with the expense and
lack of free time, that doesn't always happen.

I love to ride. I currently own a 1983 CR250. Yeah, I know it's a little
old, but I rebuilt everything except the suspension. The engine runs
very strong, but the frame is a beast (both large and heavy). I also own
a 1989 Kawasaki Ninja 600R. Which is nice, but I've outgrown it. If I
ever graduate, and someone is nice enough to hire me, these are definately
on my list of 'needed new toys'.

Reading consumes a lot of my time. I'm not really into novels though.
I enjoy computer books (O'Reilly especially), but Douglas Adams'
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy collection is worth checking out. It's
a knee slapper.

Feeding my computer addiction, Roost.org. At the moment, it consists of 1 Linux P100 which I use for a mail server,
exporting disk, router, Samba server, ... An Alpha UDB running RedHat
Linux. A P90 running Winblowz 95. They talk to eachother via 10BaseT.
But, I've been thinking about purchasing a 4-port 100BaseT hub and a
newer putah. Sometime...
