    These models mark the very beginnings of my origami career when I first realized that you can create your own designs. They are all relatively very simple and are based on common bases, like the stretched bird base, or techniques, like box-pleating. During these early years, I created hundreds of models based on these bases and techniques. Even with these models, starting with my first creation, the sailboat, to the Russian dancer, you can see a progression to more complexity and form.
