    This model is the product of a long series of beetle models with the legs folded from the corners and two midpoints of the sides.  This technique results in some pleasing proportions and color-changes.

    The crease pattern is folded from a 16ths grid. To fold this particular tiger beetle, the four middle points at the top-middle are pushed inside-out.
