Throughout my years of being an origami artist, I have seen many Rosalia beetles. Manuel Sirgo, Lionel Albertino, Peter Budai, and especially Katsuta Kyohei have made some terrific models, but I felt the beetle had not yet been fully captured. The crease pattern is 32nds, and there are some inverted center points which form the abdomen and wings. |
