    One day while surfing the net, I came upon an article about a newly discovered creature, a deep-sea snail covered with iron sulfite scales and nicknamed the 'armored snail' (its scientific name is Neomphalia sp.). From the two pictures I could find on Google images, I drew out a crease pattern.

    Here, you can see an early sign of my "I will fold anything, no matter how many points it has" phase. The crease pattern is on an 18ths grid.
