  • DS 4900 Data Science Senior Project [Spring 2020]

    In this course student develop a senior project over the course of a Semester. This project is designed to be open ended; students work with the instructor and each other to identify an analysis task, perform any data preprocessing and cleaning that is required, apply and/or implement analysis methods, visualize results, and report findings.

  • CS 4100 Artificial Intelligence [Fall 2019]

    This is an introductory course on artificial intelligence. It covers a relatively broad range of topics, including planning, knowledge representation, basic probability and uncertainty, statistical machine learning (supervised and reinforcement), and ethical considerations.

  • CS 7140 Advanced Machine Learning [Spring 2018; Spring 2019]

    This course covers Bayesian methods for probabilistic modeling and inference. The topics covered are on the advanced end of the spectrum of those found in machine learning textbooks.

  • DS 5230 Unsupervised Machine Learning and Data Mining [Fall 2018]

    This graduate-level course covers topics in unsupervised learning and data mining.
