Linux on the HP Pavilion zd7000

Below are notes and documentation for installing, configuring, and running various versions of Linux on the HP Pavilion zd7000. Some distributions require less setup than others and some are just darn impossible. Newer distros come with many advancements that used to take a good deal of hacking to setup. As these needs change, the focus of these guides changes from the initial hardware configuration needed using Fedora Core 3 to taking advantage of the special features in the operating system in a way that is either unique to the zd7000 or specifically helpful like in Knoppix.
