John's Photography
Last new photo added: 6/96
As you can see, this hasn't been updated in a while.
Here's a lot of older work. I'll be putting new stuff on my Flickr site.
Webcounter notes you as the
th
visitor to the gallery since 6/12/96
Well, I've finally gotten some time so scan some more pic in. Mostly train-related pics,
but will put some more in later. I have found a keen graphics convert program which will take
my APS and GIF files and make them into nice jpeg files, which make for a smaller
download, and better color photos... enjoy
Well, I've impressed myself by having enough photos to make
this a big page, so here are some jumping points. Let's see if I can
thing of come cooler graphics in the future though. :)

Hand-Colored Photos
One of the pleasures of doing B&W work is being able to color-in your photos.
Although some would question this kind of behavior :) it allows you to add your
own artistic touches to photos. All photos below are colored-in black & white photos.
Unfortunately, I've given a lot of colored in photos away as gifts, so this section will
be slow in growing at the moment. If I can stop working on the model trains and color
the photos, you'll see more here.
- Bud & Betty
My friend Dave and his then fiancee Maureen. This is a scan of my copy of the work.
A large copy was given to them as a wedding present
- Theater Lights
In the heart of Houston this art deco style building looked like it had seen better days.
I decided to give it a sprucing up.
- Mom in a great hand-colored photo!
- Ivy grows at the base of a building in the city.
One of my first hand coloring efforts, and still one of the faves. :)
- Acorn St The most photographed streets in
all of Boston; with a little twist...
- A Man in the Park provided the quintessential
photograph. With permission I clicked away, and then brightened up
the scene with my pencils
- Sunset along the Mississippi
