About Myself

I'm about to graduate from Northeastern University with my BS in Computer Science . I've really enjoyed it. I've gotten some great experience and made lots of friends .

Where I've Been

I grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts. I first attended St. Mary's School there from K to 8 then I went off to Taunton, MA to Coyle and Cassidy for high school.

Where I'm going

Currently I'm looking for something meaningful to do after I graduate. Honestly I'm looking at positions for consulting or programming where I can use my BS in Computer Science and have opportunities to use my communications skills and opportunities to advance.

Eventually, who knows... maybe I'll start a company some day. Just ask anyone who knows me. I come up with some pretty outrageous ideas. Maybe some of those crazy ideas could acutally be useful.

I thought of combining the palm pilot with a cell phone before the PDQ came out. I love thinking about what computers will become and how people will use them. I would love to help shape what that future becomes.

What I do for Money

Currently I'm working at the Harvard University NOC on my last 3 month co-op.

Previously I've worked at IBM Printing Systems , The Open Group Research Institute , and Xionics Document Technologies .

What I do at School

I keep pretty busy with the NU Chapter of the ACM , the NU chapter of UPE , and other volunteer organizations.

What I do for My Sanity

Sports are great and I love to do a wide variety. I grew up playing ice hockey and I play whenever possible. Along the way I've picked up swimming, SCUBA, racquetball, rollerblading, biking, skiing, snowboarding, and rock climbing too. I do these whenever the opportunity arises.

I also enjoy the culture that is available to me around Boston. I enjoy classical music and I've been to performances at Symphony Hall by the BSO and the Handel and Haydn Society . Handel's Messiah is my favorite. What a great way to bring in Christmas every year! The performance by the Handel and Haydn Society is awesome.

New England Conservatory also offers many free concerts which are sometimes performed in the beautiful Jordan Hall .

Finally, I like to relax at home after a hard day of work or classes. If I feel really ambitious, I might even cook a dinner. If not there is always the web to surf and books to read...
