Regarding comments about using the K2000 with a guitar controller, are you aware of the special Guitar/Wind Controller Mode? This feature was added in v3. However, the earlier versions of the v3 manual did not have the feature documented. (The more recent version of the v3 manual, and the K2500 manual include this info).
To access this mode, press both Chan/Bank buttons while in Master Mode. The screen will ask you if you want to enable this special mode. This is not remembered on power off - you have to reset it each time you power up.
Guitar/Wind Controller mode slightly delays MIDI note On and Note Off commands, so that response to pitch bend and other expresive components of a note will be more accurate. If you are hearing a "glitch" in the attack of the notes from your guitar, you should try enabling this mode.
